MODERN DOOR HARDWARE

Not only are the doors themselves a perfect demonstration of clean lines and modern aesthetic (they are perfectly flush with the walls), but the hardware is unique and super cool. Formani makes the hardware and there is no escutcheon (or separate metal plate that the door handle sits on). So all of the hardware is actually routed behind the small square plate on the handle. It is kept just enough off of the door so it doesn’t rub as the entire handle turns. This handle packs a punch—modern design, solid feel, and a genius mechanism.

TRIMLESS GLASS DOOR

Most of the doors in this home are solid, but the door leading into the primary suite bath is a striking pocket door—a full sheet of frosted glass that seamlessly disappears into the wall when slid open. It provides privacy, but in a really cool modern way. Simply spin the hardware out to pull the door closed when the door is tucked away in the wall. And when the door closes, it does so quietly as it hits the bubble seal in the groove we routed out in the opposite casing.
