Take a Look at TruExterior and Westlake Royal Building Products

On Day 2 of the International Builders’ Show in Orlando, I was able to catch up with Steve from Westlake Royal Building Products (formerly Royal Building Products). Their company is continually growing and expanding to meet every demand of the professional builder to the weekend warrior, DYI dreamer. Westlake has a vast collection of interior and exterior products available—and now they have brought all these building solutions under one roof. Their acquisition of even more prestigious brands—offering everything from roofing to trim and molding to composite stone—is a win-win for the customer. Convenient, one-stop shopping of the brands we know and trust. And one of the roofing and trim product lines they proudly offer—and we use at NS Builders—is TruExterior. I was thrilled to explore some of the new TruExterior products they launched at the show.

 WHY WE LOVE TRUEXTERIOR

New England weather is no joke—which means NS Builders must use siding and trim products that we have absolute confidence in. TruExterior products are made with fly-ash and combined with polymers—making them durable and able to withstand extreme weather. In addition, it is resistant to pests (carpenter ants, termites, and wood-boring bugs aren’t interested in poly-ash materials). And it is resistant to moisture from rain, snow, and freezing rain.

NS Builders appreciates the remarkable workability of TruExterior products—it’s versatile and easy to cut, mill, glue, stain, and paint for custom designs and a high level of craftsmanship that our clients expect. Sustainable, long-lasting, and the “authentic” look of natural wood—what’s not to love?

WESTLAKE ROYAL BUILDING PRODUCTS YOU CAN COUNT ON

Westlake acquired DaVinci Roofscapes in 2019—composite roofing that looks like slate tiles or cedar shakes. A stellar product that is easy to install—all the beauty and character but none of the maintenance and repairs. They also acquired Boral Building Products—a collection of trim, siding, stone, roofing, and outdoor living products.

I also got a close-up look at the Westlake Celect Cellular Composite Siding booth. Celect is a cellular PVC product that resists fading and degrading, has a Kynar Aquatec coating for UV protection, and boasts a wind resistance of over 210 mph. It comes in seven profiles and 15 striking colors.

For decking solutions, Westlake proudly offers Zuri Premium Decking—a cellular composite (PVC) that we love because it doesn’t require painting, staining, or resealing. It is resistant to scratches, stains, moisture, UV light, and color fading. And hidden fasteners give you a streamlined look.

Attending builders’ shows like this one is what inspires me to keep pushing NS Builders to be even better. With so many unique products to work with and seeing how other pros are creating amazing homes—this is the stuff I live for.

It’s time to discover what NS Builders can intentionally design and build for you! Contact us today to get started on your custom dream home. Together, we can make it happen.
